Hi:  My name is Mark Gabel and  I'd like to share with you my latest online experiences from failure to success within three days.  

I have been working on the "net" for nearly a year now.  At first I thought it was the simplest thing in the world to do.  I got all hooked up with a server, learned HTML, created my first site and even had it credit card enabled.   That took about a month of work, some of it easy,  some a bit more difficult but rest assured most of it was trial and error, and when I look back, mostly error.  But I knew that all of this was going to pay off.

After my first site was up and running I submitted it to the search engines... Meta what?  Keywords? Site description?  What a learning curve that was, but I didn't get discouraged. 

After all that, I thought that's all I have to do is wait for the traffic to start coming in and I'm ready to go.  Wrong!  After analyzing re-analyzing, and agonizing, I came to the realization that I was competing with 8 million other sites!  How in the world was EVERYONE going to get to be in the top ten of ANY search engine?  This just didn't make sense.

I decided to put up another site devoted to freebies because I thought everyone wanted something for nothing. And besides almost everything on the internet is free.  

I was partially right except I didn't know enough about putting together a "freebie" site, like how to choose affiliates, what types of commissions are good, whether to promote with banners or links or both.  Then there were the technical problems and of course the lack of help with many of the affiliate companies. I had more problems then I bargained for.

You guess it, after two weeks of solid work I came to the cold hard conclusion that this wasn't going to work either.  It was time to sit back and take a long hard look at this internet project. What I needed was someone who was willing to give me straight answers, someone who had been through all of this so I could shorten my learning curve and start making money immediately.  If there was no such person then walk away from it and chalk it up to experience.

And so I began my search, after all, I had spent more than six months wasting my time... well,  I shouldn't say I wasted it, but rather that I learned what not to do.  

For the next month I read and subscribed to anything and everything that I thought would provide me with a secret, or some insight into how to make money.  

I found a few sites that I thought was what I was looking for so I purchased their books and materials only to find I could have written the same thing and sold it them.   I was not going to find what I knew had to be out there!

Finally one day I happened across a site that was owned by a young man of 29 years who claimed to be a millionaire.  Oh really, I thought, (with much skepticism), here's another one of those "tell you how to do it" guys who has never done it himself.  But much to my surprise, I found that he, Corey Rudl is his name, actually makes  5.2 million dollars among his four online business.  Now this got my attention. 

The first thing that impressed me was that he didn't hype ONE secret to online success, but rather he advocated, and was willing to share, a winning combination of proven techniques through a marketing course he had put together.  I thought I may as well give this one last try so I ordered the course.

To tell you very honestly, this was the best thing I could have ever done for my online business.  I began learning right from the start.  Even the process of ordering the course was a learning experience as well as proof positive that finally here was a man who knew what he was talking about and was "putting his money where his mouth is" so to speak.  

The entire sales process was very well laid out and went according to how he promised it would be.  The course came in EXACTLY the amount of time stipulated.  I was even emailed a UPS tracking number and web address if I needed to track it. As a matter of fact, the process was so perfect that it was almost as if I were dealing with Corey himself in a "brick and mortar" environment. Great customer care, I was impressed.  

To make a long story short, the package, (two thick books, 12 pounds in all), arrived on a Friday and by Monday morning I had read half of it and started implementing his unique and logical techniques.  Within three days my income shot up by 300%!  

Corey Rudl's internet marketing course, "Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business on the Internet" is a well known, top seller for the third year running.  It is respected as the online marketing publication throughout the Internet.  

Another number one seller on the internet is Corey's "Car Secrets Revealed" book. Yes that's the way Corey got started. He had written a book about cars and failed at marketing it in the "brick and mortar" world. He then turned to the Internet on advise of a friend in 1995 and the rest is history.
